Happy does not mean perfect! it means showing up for the small, day-to-day moments in life with presence.
It’s in those moments where thoughts are quieter and presence becomes stronger.
🧘♀️ Coming back to your practice
This is exactly what yoga gives you.
The effects of pranayam (breathing), asana (posture), and shatkarma (cleansing) can help detox your body and mind.
And honestly, we need that detox every single day.
The amount of information we consume, the time we spend sitting, constantly working and engaging — it all builds up.
A simple morning detox can help bring back focus and clarity.
🌿 Being honest about inconsistency
I’ll be honest; we are human, and we are not always consistent.
Over the last couple of months, I found myself drifting away from my practice.
And I noticed the shift- my focus reduced, distractions increased, and everything started to feel slightly out of place.
So I came back to my mat.
I practiced jal netti, pranayam, and asana… and almost instantly, my mind felt quieter.
☀️ A simple practice to begin
All I ask is for you to try this tomorrow morning:
- Wake up 15 minutes earlier than usual
- Do 3 minutes of Kapalabhatti pranayam
- Follow with 2 minutes of Bhastrika pranayam (both are energizing breaths)
- Practice 5 rounds of Surya Namaskars
- Do 5 minutes of gentle stretching
- End with 2 minutes of meditation
If needed, you can repeat this sequence again in the middle of the day and notice how you feel.
✨ One small decision
You don’t have to fix your focus.
You only have to make one decision — to show up with presence.
With love,
Neha
